President and founder Brian Gilpin initiated the vision of Illusion Sound and Lighting in 1987. After just a few short years, ISL grew to be a full production company servicing major concerts, festivals, churches, and corporate clients with sound, lighting, video and staging.

For the past 37 years, Illusion Sound and Lighting has exceeded the expectations of many top professionals and achieved a notable reputation in the industry through hard work and dedication. Located between Lancaster and Reading, Pennsylvania, ISL stocks staging, stage roof systems, audio components, complete sound systems, lighting components and systems including intelligent lighting fixtures, theatrical lighting instruments, followspots, lasers, special effects and video projection equipment. ISL is also prepared with generated power systems to provide electric for our rentals throughout your entire event.
