About Us

CommunityAid is neighbors helping neighbors by accepting donations to create quality jobs, offering an affordable shopping experience, and supporting nonprofit partners serving our local community.

We are a faith-based, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that employs more than 500 people across our seven Pennsylvania thrift stores. We partner with hundreds of local nonprofit organizations that provide service in our store locations’ communities by donating a percentage of sales and product to support our neighbors in need.

At CommunityAid, you can shop knowing that your purchase will be fairly priced, encourage sustainability, and strengthen our local communities.

CommunityAid partners with nonprofits that address Homelessness, Food Insecurity and Basic Needs. The Community can donate on behalf of our nonprofit partners and they will receive 13 cents a pound for all clothing, clothing accessories, toys and electronics!
