EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE: The Leadership Advantage (Winter 2019)
Emotional Intelligence (EI) is the ability to be aware of one’s own emotions and those of others and regulate personal emotions to facilitate effective thinking, action and relationships. Studies have shown that emotional intelligence has a much greater impact on career success than a person’s IQ.
This workshop is designed to enhance individual and team performance to influence outcomes that increase employee engagement, cohesiveness and workplace productivity. Attendees use key principles and exercises to learn skills that enable success to achieve corporate goals.

1. Assessing emotional temperature in varied situations and recognizing emotional igniters and applying emotionally intelligent regulation strategies
2. Identifying the impact our emotional intelligence has on connecting with others
3. Practicing proactive stress management techniques to stay emotionally well balanced
4. Recognizing leadership competencies that result from high EQ
